Milwaukee launched their new line of small angle Grinders. They introduced 8 new models. These grinders feature a 12 amp 1290 Max Watt Out motor. One nice feature is the constant power technology which keeps the grinding wheel at a constant speed. They have also included an Overload Protection feature that helps prevent damage to the grinder. The electronic shut off will shut the grinder down when the wheel is stalled which again helps protect this power tool.

As with their M18 cordless grinder, these grinders have an L-shape intake vent to help prevent harmful debris entering the motor housing and protecting the tool. Now if you have used a grinder for a while, you always notice how hot they get at the end of a long cut or constant use. Milwaukee has a Multi-port exhaust system which allows hot air to escape on all four sides of the gear case, which keeps the motor cool. As you know a cooler motor can mean a longer life.

As with the M18 cordless grinder these too have a tool free guard adjustment. One item we really like is the safety feature. In the event of a wheel burst, Milwaukee has a positive detents which holds the guard in place and makes it less likely to rotate.
