Milwaukee’s New M12 Hackzall
Milwaukee announced today the release of its new M12 Hackzall. This is a reciprocating saw that is compact and lightweight. It is designed for small spaces. This Hackzall is powered by a 12V Lithium Ion battery and will cut over 80 pieces of 1.5″ PVC on one battery. One nice feature is this Hackzall looks like it utilizes Milwaukee’s Quik-Lok feature, so you know the blade will stay in place. The trigger is a variable speed trigger, so you can adjust the speed for the material you are working on.
Some of the spec are:
- SPM 0-3,000
- Stroke Lenght - 1/2″
- Weight - 2.6lbs.
We are trying to get our hands on one to test this tool. Take a look at our power tool reviews to see what we have tested so far.
Milwaukee’s New M12 Released today
Milwaukee announced the first m12 Cooper tubing cutter. This is powered by a 12V lithium Ion battery. This new M12 can make up to 200 cuts on one battery. The milwaukee cutter will automatically adjust and cut through 3/8″ to 1″ diameter pipe. The head is corrosion and rust resistant. The head is also sealed for protection from water. One nice feature, we hope, is the built in LED light. It looks like this weighs around 3.2lbs. We hope to test this new copper cutter from Milwaukee in the near future to see if it lives up to its hype.
