  7. It finally came! I'm pretty excited. My wife said it came with a purse. I had to correct her and tell her it was a tool bag not a purse. I'd also like to thank Eric and Dan for making this possible. Keep up the good work! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  26. Oh and this came today finally. I can't recommend ShopFestool/US Tool and Fastener enough. They were great through this entire Festool debacle. If, and quite frankly it's a big if at the moment, I buy anything else Festool it will be through them.

  28. This little gem showed up today. I also did some torque testing on it and it would not loosen a 3/4 inch bolt torqued to 600 ft lbs. I'll get a 7/8 bolt next week and try it again. It is still incredibly powerful though.

  39. So I have a need for Y fitting/diverter/blast gate. I have not found anything I liked so decided to build one. I have a Festool dust Extractor that sits next to my Festool Kapex miter saw. The dust extractor has a mini cyclone on it and I use it for sanding, track saw, miter and the new domino. I get tired of switching hoses around and to be honest, if I have a 2" cut to make on the miter saw I will just let the dust fly instead of switching the %$^&@ hose from something else! When you build something like this you have to keep flow in mind of course. I have seen guys build square boxes which I cant imagine works very well. So I built this which will wall mount next to the Kapex. So what about flow you ask?? Well here is a look at the inside And here is how I did it. Could not have been simpler. I cut 18 3" x 3" squares of plywood and drilled a 1 1/2" hole in the center. Then I glued them together being sure to line up the center hole. I did this in a couple steps to mantain the center easier. After truing them up on the band saw I used the miter saw to make a 15 degree slice on each side. Then glued them together and let them dry. One that was done I cut top and bottom off and give them a nice sand to prep all six sides And then added a 1/4 face to the front and back to capture and hold a piece of UHMW in place for the blast gate. I have not drilled the holes in the bottom as I have not decided what to use for a 2" nipple to attach the two Festool hoses. I will add something to the end of the UHMW to act as a handle and stop when I do that. Was pretty pleased about the outcome and to be honest it did not take long to do.

  42. Sorry I didn't respond back right away, but we were at the WOC. I saw everyone, but one person has PM with their information and everyone should have received a message back. Looks like we will be sending the names out early next week. Might take 4 to 6 weeks before you guys get your stuff. Once we send the names, it's out of my hands and can't track it. So please keep me posted so I know everyone got their stuff.

  44. Sorry I've been so absent lately y'all, it's been a hell of a month. Well here's the last few weeks of purchases. Loved the kompact so much I picked up an RA! Also picked up some combination inserts for them. Also got a good deal on Amazon for the knipex. Still waiting on the 12" to arrive. Picked up the insulated bit flip, and the Klein 5125 for the helper/apprentice. He loves the Klein canvas bags. They are a classic. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro

  47. Went to Home Depot to get this… It took quite a while to hunt down an associate because all 4 that they had in stock were locked up in overstock. This was the only planned purchase, but I found one of those elusive yellow tag deals on something I actually wanted. It's lock on instead of a paddle switch which I would prefer but for $50 I won't complain. Also picked up a couple of Diablo Cut-Off wheels.
