DeWALT DWE357 10 Amp Compact Reciprocating Saw – Review

The reciprocating saw has to be one of my favorite tools.  You can use a reciprocating saw for almost anything from cutting down trees to cutting though pipe.  It will cut anything including my work bench which Eric cut up in the video below.  Most reciprocating saws are of a D handle design with a few exceptions.  The DWE357 isn’t feature packed, it is designed to get into tight areas and can get 10 amps of power into the tightest of areas. DeWALT has made the DWE357 a compact design that is only 14.5″  long and 6.8lbs.  It uses Dewalt’s...

DeWALT DCS310S1 12V Max Cordless Lithium-Ion Reciprocating Saw Kit – Review

2 years ago the 12V Max line was all the rage of the tool world.  Still today it is a fresh design away from the standard pistol grip style battery packs.  The balance and ergonomics in my opinion are the best in the business.  Throughout 2011 not a single new 12V Max tool was released, but I have come to learn that good things come to those who wait.  For 2101 so far they have released this saw and a Thermal Imager which we hope to review asap. Everyone has their favorite brands, I like certain brands for certain things.  For reciprocating saws I usually lean towards a Milwaukee Sawzall. The 7.35lb DeWALT DCS380L1 20V MAX*...

Milwaukee M18 Sawzall – 2620-20

What’s more fun than destruction?  I don’t know, but if anyone can tell me I am open to listening.  That’s why I love reciprocating saws.  I get to destroy things.  I really don’t like the clean up, but I guess that comes with the fun.  I am sure by now you have at least tried a Sawzall and you know what I mean when I say these things rock. The cordless Sawzall 2620-20 came in my new M18 kit.  I currently own a corded 13 amp Sawzall which I love and always reach for when I need to do...

Porter Cable Tigersaw Review

I love hearing Dan tell me how much work he can do.  I always joke around with him when he brags about how much he works.  I always tell him he can do the work of three guys, which the first time he was very excited about this comparison.  Then I had to tell him he can do the work of three guys named Larry, Curly and Moe.  I guess the reason I thought about this is because we are doing a review of the Porter Cable Tiger Saw model PC85TRSOK and this is designed for work. Porter Cable has...
