Here we have the Ladder Top Tool Caddy, one of those why didn’t I think of that ideas! Let us know what you think of this product.
The ladder top tool caddy is designed to set on top of a fiberglass step ladder. A recess pocket snugly covers the the top of the ladder. The center has an open tool and parts compartment, which has angled from front to back for easy access. The back wall contains tool pockets for assorted hand tools, and a carrying handle that retracts back down into the box. This will allow easy access to your tools. Two hold down clamps can be mounted to the sides of the box for added support. The clamps have adjustable bolts for various size ladder tops.

Great idea…those quick acting toggle clamps should make it a snap to set up.
Good luck and keep em coming….
Idea is good, lighter material would be easier to haul up and down the ladder
for some men and women with difficulties in lifting, and some type of detachable
carry handle would help. Just a thought.
This idea somewhat already exists. BucketBoss has a ladder bag, there is also the plastic ladder mate, and one of the major ladder companies makes a ladder with this functionality already built in. I am not trying to shoot down this idea, because I am all for it, I just wanted to point this out because it might already be patented.
I like this idea too and maybe it’ll keep people from trying to stand on the very top of their ladder. It seems like it may be a little awkward to carry up the ladder- especially if it’s full of tools. Maybe some sort of shoulder strap?
Cool Idea!
It would be even cooler if it was designed more like a toolbox. Something like this:

Then you wouldn’t have load it with tools every time you wanted to use it.
I like the Tool Box Idea!
Make it soft with a shoulder strap and then you have a bag also. hmmm
I saw that too Chris, The inventor said it is Patent Pending so we will see if the patent goes though.
