Is it hot in here or is it just me! No it’s the DEWALT D26960 that we got from ACME tools Buy it here. I have gone through 3 heat guns, 2 were borrowed and never returned and one was dropped. The time had come for a quality heat gun that I will never loan out!

1550watts and drawing 13 Amps this tool dims the block when you turn it on, but it produces some serious heat, from 150 degrees to a scorching 1100 degrees this is one pro heat gun. It features a built in overload protection circuit that shuts off the tool to prevent the heating element from burning up. It ways 2.3 lbs and is ergonomic and easy to control.
The unit comes with a cone and fishtail surface nozzle that easily slides on the tip of the unit. At the bottom of the unit is an ingenious stand for setting the tool down and letting it cool without the risk of torching the surroundings. A hang ring is also at the bottom of the tool allowing you to easily hang the tool for storage.
Now the cool part, the D2960 has an LCD panel that allows you to set your temperature and also doubles as a temperature gauge. It is adjustable in 50 degree increments. When you start at 150 and dial it up to 700 you actually see the temperature climb, the tool will let you know when it is at the desired temperature. I cant complain about this tool, it worked flawlessly. I used it to remove a dealer sticker, heat up some paint to help dry it and successfully melted a pair of gloves because I forgot about the included stand. Go ahead check this heat gun out for yourself, I think you will be pleased.
