Power Tool News: Milwaukee introduced two new Sawzalls

Models: 6519-31 and 6509-31

If you have never heard of heard Milwaukee Sawzall then you should probably get out from under your rock.  Milwaukee has been leading the way and is one of the most widely used reciprocating saws in the professional industry.  Milwaukee is introducing two new Sawzall’s to their line up, the 6509-31 and the 6519-31.  Now we haven’t tried either of these yet, so we are not sure how they are built and in all honesty how they are different from what they currently have on the market.  If they are anything like the other Sawzalls available and we are pretty sure they are, they are probably built great and worth every penny.  The two main items to note with these additions is their stroke length and that is the only difference we see between the two models.  Both models pack a powerful 12 Amp motor to cut through the toughest of materials and they have all the bells and whistles the other Sawzalls have. 

Getting back to stroke length the 6509-31 has a short 3/4″ stroke which makes this ideal for the tight spots, while the 6519-31 has a longer 1-1/8″ stroke length.  The longer length is great for demo jobs or areas you have more room to work with.
