3M New Clean Sanding Discs

3M introduced their new Clean Sanding Disc.  These discs are designed for whitewood and finish sanding and are designed to be used with random orbital sanders.  They are supposed to work great to prevent clogs, but work even better with a dust extraction system.  As you can see when you enlarge the picture above, there is a unique patented hole pattern to better remove dust from the work area.  As you know when you remove the dust from the surface, you get a better and faster sanding application.

 

According to 3M, these discs last longer and do not need to be changed as frequently.  The discs are available in 5 and 6″ diameters and come in grades P80 to P1000.
