Milwaukee announced their new arrival of their Milwaukee 2645-22 M18 Jig Saw Kit. You can also pick up other M18 tools at tylertool.com. We haven’t tested this saw yet, but it looks pretty cool. Milwaukee added some nice features to this saw. The 2645-22 Jig Saw features a 5 position orbital cutting action. This is a great benefit as it allows the user to adjust the tool to their application. Basically it gives the user more control.
Additionally Milwaukee added a tool free bevel for quick and accurate shoe adjustments. The bevel capacity is 45 degrees. If you are familiar with Milwaukee tools, they have one of the best blade locking systems around. This jig saw utilizes the Quick-Lok blade clamp system, so you know once the blade is in place, it will stay there.
This power tool weights 7.75lbs and has a 2,200 spm with a 1″ stroke length. The overall length of the jig saw is 10-1/2″
Milwaukee offers a 5 yr/2000 charge warranty.
If you are looking for something a little smaller, take a look at their M12 line. You can read our review of the Milwaukee M12 line.
