 We just found out that Tylertool.com announced the purchase of routerbits.com.  Below is the press release from Tyler Tool about the acquisition.

 

Tyler Tool Company, Inc. Completes Acquisition of Routerbits.com

TYLERTOWN, MS., October 14, 2008 - On October 10, 2008, Tyler Tool Company, Inc. (“Tyler Tool”) purchased the business and assets of Atlanta, GA based Routerbits.com (“Router Bits”).

Tyler Tool Sales and Marketing Director Louis Ochello added “The integration of RouterBits.com into our current power tool and woodworking brands will allow TylerTool.com to be a one stop shop for wood working enthusiast.  Customers can be assured that our brands, product selection and our expert customer service team will meet their needs whether they are purchasing a router or the bits that they need for that special project.”

This acquisition will significantly increase Tyler Tool’s presence in the woodworking accessories segment.  Router Bits will now be based in Tylertown, MS.
