dewalt Dewalt Launches New 1/2 10 Amp Drills

Dewalt is launching a new series of drills, the DWD215G and the DWD210G.  The two new drills are Dewalt’s newest 10 amp drills, yes 10 amp motors.  One will be sold as a mid-handle grip and the other as a pistol grip.

The new drills are 1/2″ and according to Dewalt the new motors have about 40% more copper than previous models of the same motor size which offers 50% more power and offers more torque.

We haven’t heard anything about the weight of these new drills, but our guess is if Dewalt is not mentioning the weight, than it must be heavier.  We are not sure how much heavier, so if anyone has any ideas, please let us know and we will pass it on.

Hopefully these are good. I like the Milwaukee drills, but I am a huge Dewalt fan for power tools.
